Ryan first joined the band in August 2004 with the original line up. At school he
was introduced to two bands which pretty much defined my adolescence and shaped his
musical tastes to come - Prodigy and Nirvana.
Towards the end of his teenage years
he found that his tastes in music were developing, and new, darker sounds began to
inspire him - the relentless techno-inspired riffery of Fear Factory, the industrial
punk sneer of late Pitchshifter, the hardcore punk of Pennywise, Sick of it All and
Suicidal Tendencies.
His favourite music has - high energy. Hence, while you may not
hear any death grunts or blastbeat drumming from this band's direction, he feels
rights at home belting out a bass riff regardless of the overall style provided it
gets people moving.
Despite having spent a couple of years away from the other guys,
he can gladly say that it feels damn good to be back in the fold again.

Alex Ivanov, Drums, Percussion & vocals
Tom Martin, Guitar & vocals
Alex is one of the founder members of the band from early 2004, and has always been
into music since a young age.
When he was little he used to have piano lessons and
always enjoyed listening to music.
Alex came over from Russia in 1995 and in 1996
started taking drum lessons at Mortimer Wilson School. During school and college
he spent a lot of his spare time in the school’s studio, learning about recording,
sound engineering, mixing & jamming with various people.
In ‘97 he joined a band called “The Heat” and spent a few years playing with them.
During that time they gigged round the local area and recorded a 5 track CD. During
College/University years Alex had also done a lot of DJ’ing under the name of DJ
Moscow...
Then his university Karate Club formed a band for a Christmas Party, which
happened to stay together for longer than just one gig. The band has changed and
evolved over the last few years, but Alex is proud to be a long lasting member of
Nine Hundred More. There is nothing Alex enjoys more than jamming and gigging with
his band mates.
Alex plays a Remo fusion kit with zildgen cymbals.
Tom is the other founder member & song writer of the band, it was the inspiration from his older brother Paul, that got him into guitars at the age of 12. Educated on blues & rock n roll, people like Eddie Cochran, Jimmy Read, Johnny Burnett, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker & Elvis Presley. Through his teenage years he enjoyed soul, funk, punk and rock music.
Tom’s first experience of performing was in local talent contests at village halls and clubs around the area, in a duo called ‘TNT’ & a pop band called ‘Destiny’. Later as a solo artist followed by a rockabilly band ‘Slap Cat 4. In 2001 along with karate friends Alex on drums, Masaya on bass, Ian on keyboard, Stefan and Tom alternating on lead vocal and guitar formed a band called the ‘Gi’zers’. Followed the year after with ‘Firescene’ Alex, Masaya & Tom and the introduction of Dave Burns on lead guitar. In 2003 Alex, Dave and Tom still pursued with the music and gigs with new original songs being formed under the band name of ‘Krasha’. In the late summer of 2004, the band was re-named ‘Nine Hundred More’.
Tom plays a variety of guitars two Gibson Les Pauls one with Humbuckers and the other with P90’s he also uses a Gretsch Corvette and a Dean Accoustic.

The grim Riffer and lick man
Wayne Griffiths Lead Guitar & vocals
Wayne is the newest member of the band, joinin up in March 2009.
At the age of 4. Wayne’s Dad bought his first guitar as a gift, It was an Arion Les Paul Sunburst Copy. He was always surrounded by music from the 50’s rock and roll era that both his parents loved. He still remembers the first time he heard Chuck Berry’s Johnny B Goode, of course he couldn’t play it but dancing around in front of the mirror was the next best thing.
The next stage in Wayne’s life was the punk era – Sex Pistols, Sham 69, Undertones, X-ray Spex, The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers etc. Then came the rock bands such as Kiss, Ozzy Ozbourne, Metallica, Pink Floyd – the list of bands and artists are just so big and varied he could be listing them forever.
Two of his biggest influences come from Ace Frehley and Dave Gilmour.
The type of guitar Wayne uses still has to be the Les Paul strung up with 9 guage Super slinkys, I love the feel, the sound and the shape. Into a Marshall amp through a Marshall 4 x 12 cab, with Boss pedals for the best effects.
