Nine hundred m was formed in early 2004 by Alex Ivanov, drums, Tom Martin, vocals/guitar & Dave Burns, lead guitar with the addition of Ryan Prince on Bass in August 2009. At the end of 2004 Nhm recorded their first demo disc at the Tree hugging hippy studio in Ripley, with Mick Wilson. The CD was originally named Killer in Me! But during the recording the name Infinidecibel was decided for the name of the demo.
Through 2005 Nhm went straight to work on promotion for gigs, pulling in a variety of venues. Making use of some original Nhm songs and a mixed blend of classic rock & punk cover’s gaining bigger and busier venues.
In June 05 Dave decided to leave. The band continued gigs as a three piece. September of the same year also saw the departure of Ryan.
Starting to build up a loyal fan base, Nhm’s Alex & Tom still carried on as a duo.
Up to the end of 2005 after several painful auditions Alex & Tom had almost given up on finding someone. 2006 onwards followed a mixture of different band members starting with Tom Hickling on Bass, January 2006 to July 2006. The rest of the summer gigs Alex & Tom played all their gigs as a two piece again. Lewis Marriott, on lead guitar from September 2006 to September 2008. Gary Coxhead, on bass from May 2007 to March 2008. The band was rejoined by original bassist Ryan Prince in April 2008, followed by the newest member in March 2009 Wayne Griffiths on lead guitar.
The band are active with gigs around the country and working on new material also having chance to record the songs thanks to Groundwork Derby & Derbyshire the band are still based in Somercotes, Derbyshire, Recording at The Imagination Lab Studio.
